No, but I wonder if IMAP works on the iPad. If not I would suspect
certificate issues. When you say "not much in
Hi!
I did setup a debian buster system with cyrus 3.0.8-6
We setup cyrus to use saslauth to authenticate against AD.
So far all known windows/linux IMAP clients do fetch their IMAP mails
without issues.
But we got a issue with POP3s on a iPad, it cannot login and I do not
see much information
Kinda looks like a port probe. telnet to the pop3s port and then use
the telnet escape key to quit the connection. If you'd like to
submit a patch to reduce the level of logging for these errors to
something a little more sane (like DEBUG), I'm sure it would be

Hi,
we have installed cyrus-imapd-2.3.7-2 on Centos 5. Everything work very
well, but last days i noticed that we get an error related with pop3s.
The error is this:

Thought so too!
So what I've always had to do is disable
some authentication errors:

Hi, all.
I am having trouble authenticating to Cyrus IMAP using the pop3s port.
I would like to use SSL/TLS and pop for my user community.
I am using Berkeley DB as my database store (v. 4.2.52).
Are there separate databases that store id/pass information? I have
assumed up to now that

Here is a patch against the cyrus-imapd.spec file for the Red Hat
Linux RPMs cyrus-imapd-2.0.16-5rm. This patch adds the creation and
use of a test SSL certificate automatically if openssl is also
installed. Because under Red Hat 6.2 the imaps and pop3s service
names are not defined in /etc

I'm attempting to deploy cyrus-imapd on a Red Hat 7.2 machine (single
