Kevin,
I wondered about the passphrase myself. The instructions GoDaddy
provides are, of course, tailored for Apache, and maybe they think
entering a passphrase is a reasonable thing to have to do, though I
can't imagine what server admin would actually want that.
I'll dump the passphrase and
I use a GoDaddy 2048bit cert on my personal server with no issues. In
imapd.conf I have set the following:

tls_key_file: /etc/pki/cyrus-imapd/server.key
tls_ca_file: /etc/pki/cyrus-imapd/gd_intermediate_bundle.crt

Good morning,
I've been running Cyrus at a couple of small sites since 2001 or so.
I've run into a snag trying to setup SSL using something other than the
self-signed, auto-generated certificate. The domain has a GoDaddy
2048-bit SSL certificate. From the SSL manager, one downloads a bundle

It turns out that my earlier problem with a StartCom SSL certificate
was that I was giving Cyrus a PEM file containing not only the
essentials (my server cert, my decrypted private key, and the CA
certs), but containing StartCom's revocation lists (CRL's) as well.
Apache and Postfix don't seem to
I'm running Cyrus 2.3.14 on two Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) servers.
Recently, I installed new "StartSSL Free" SSL certificates from StartCom
on these servers. After doing so, I could no longer connect securely to
Cyrus in any mode (imaps, imap + starttls, pop3s, pop3 + starttls) -- the

Just
How do I configure Cyrus to use multiple SSL
certificates/private keys? I want users to be able to reach the server as
either a.example.com or a.b.example.com. I have certificates and keys for
both names.

Is it possible to use client-auth with ssl-certificates on the cyrus
imapserver. Additional to providing the passwort a client needs to have
an issued client-certificate installed which is checked by the imap-server.

Hi,
is there a possibility to use more than one server certificate? The
problem is that the mailserver has multiple domain names. The domain
names don't specify different services as pop or imap, therefore
tls_pop3 and tls_imap... wouldn't help me.
Anybody got a hint?
Best regards,
Sam

You are limited to one cert per service per config file. If you want to
have different certs for different imapd, then you'll have to use
separate config files (-C option) for each imapd.

for fetching their mails like imap.customer1.com imap.customer2.com

And I want give any of the the possibility to use SSL-secured
