The cyrusv2.mc distributed in 2.0.7 was suboptimal. The current
suggestion is to remove the "5" flag from the Cyrus mailer. You can
see the cyrusv2.mc distributed with 2.0.9 as an example.

oh good, I thought it was just me going mad ...
does anything in my .mc file jump out at anyone knowing sendmail more then
I as to what is misconfigured though? Checking things on another server
where I have Cyrus 2.0.7 installed and sendmail 8.11.0, using expn, I can
generate the same error, s
