Check this:
Error: Nothing happens when you try to login to web-cyradm:
There are possibly errors in the database you created. Maybe some of the
fields are encrypted and other is plain? Go over the scripts and build the
database from scratch. Also check the file
/path/to/web-cyradm/config/c
Create new users in web-cyradm (web-cyradm creates entries in mysql
database + new accounts in cyrus).

I guess that's settled now... and I also got web-cyradm 0.5.4-1 working
by removing the mail user from mysql and dropping the mail dabase then
recreating all with $CRYPTO set to "plain" as this guys sais it here http://www.ductape.net/~mitja/linux.html
.now this is what I am getting from [EMAIL PRO
I tried that actually... later... but I get "permission denied". Am I
doing it wrong?

You should look deeper into squirrelmail. It has all the
plugins and utilities for cyrus that you are seeking
We're using the same config as you and it works like

but I just reinstalled the web-cyradm twice, and
now it doesn't hang but I can't seem to login. Also, the following errors

Hi,
we are using SquirrelMail as webclient. With the plugins change_mysqlpass and
avelsieve regular users can change their password and/or build server-side filters as
well as setting vaction notices or forwardings. This setup works excellent for our
needs.
