Yes, I've switched my config to "virtdomains: userid" from
"virtdomains: yes", as the latter didn't let me "createmailbox
[EMAIL PROTECTED]" from cyradm. With "userid" variation, this
works.
So is that all that is needed?

'virtdomains: userid' (versus virtdomains: yes) in my imapd.conf, and it
allows multiple domains on one IP. I have 4 or 5 domains (virtual setup)

You don't have to have multiple NIC's to have multiple IPs. Even Windoze
allows you to assign multiple addresses is a single interface.
You can configure Cyrus to support virtual domains with a single IP
address, but your users will have to supply a username of the form
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]".
