I limited my problem to `smux_listen_sd' being an undefined reference.
Without changing anything on my system, I added the following libraries
in the compilation lines: -lrpm -lrpmio -lgnomesupport
The result is the following:
[root@world master]# gcc -L/usr/local/lib -Wl,-rpath,/us
