The best method is to let Outlook do the work...
Create an outlook account that uses this pst, create an outlook IMAP
account and just drag the folders/messages into the IMAP folders.

I had the same problem some time ago. so I configured an outlook as client for
the imap server and moved all messages from the local *.pst box into the imap.
