Hi,

I've tried all that you suggested
I've tried ckuser_cyrus as Matthew Seaman suggested...it made no difference
then I've tried rtcyrus3 as Andrzej Adam Filip suggested...it didn't work
either...and the logging output in maillog stopped...but I still get
Hi,
please excuse me
I totally messed up this output...because of my pathetic try to substitute
yo.com with my real domain
this output should be read as follows:

b...@yo.com... Connecting to /var/imap/socket/lmtp via cyrusv2vd

Hi,
thanks for the response.
I did what you suggested
I defined new mailer like this:
# cat /usr/share/sendmail/cf/mailer/cyrusv2vd.m4
PUSHDIVERT(-1)
#
# Copyright (c) 2002 Sendmail, Inc. and its suppliers.

Is this the correct order?
Does it make a difference if you switch (smtp) <-> (cyrusv2) ?

Hi,
I installed a Cyrus 2.1 server on a Debian Sarge. Users authentication
from ldap.
I created users in ldap and mailboxes in cyrus but I can't send an email
for them. I got "mail_via_smtp: 550 5.1.0 unknown user".
If I created user in local passwd file I can send one.

Everything goes all right but the last step: in the $HOME/.procmaillog file I
receive the following error:

After checking the lmtp log and doing some strace work I was able to determine
the problem. We used partial virtual domain support in the past. I just updated
the configuration to proper 2.2.3 virtual domain support and it seems to work

When I use the non-LMTP sendmail.cf file, Sendmail 8.11 will deliver to the

messages are no longer delivered to the sub-folder. Permissions are correct
on the sub-folder (anyone p).
I am using Cyrus-imapd 1.6.25.
