i have forgotten this:
usermod -G sasl cyrus
and i have installed the missing packedes:
saslauthd-2.1.21-SunOS5.8-sparc-CSW.pkg
openldap-2.3.20-SunOS5.8-sparc-CSW.pkg
openldap_client-2.3.20-SunOS5.8-sparc-CSW.pkg
openldap_rt-2.3.20-SunOS5.8-sparc-CSW.pkg
libnet-1.0.2,

I don't know how things are packaged with Solaris but it should be in the
sasl or a subpackage of it.

some dependencis so solve but its ok.
ONLY ONE PROBLEM I HAVE:
I will use /etc/passwd to authenticate the users. No certs no ssl... only
/etc/passwd !
