I have to sync an account created on 2 Cyrus-imap servers
(bi-directional sync).
I tried mbsync, mailsync but these tools don't work, there are many
problems when user delete / move / create folders.
Have you another tool to do it ?
Tanks in advance

ed and maybe authenticated "channel" and send "clear text"

check this site http://www.stunnel.org for stunnel
or you can use openssl -R option to open a local tunnel to the remote machine.
for example
ssh -R 993:mailserver:143 <.> will open a connect

Etch and cyrus2.2 packages or if I need to give a try on the 2.3
release ?

Why there is no communication when connecting to IMAP ?
What does mean "connect(default) failed: Invalid argument" in the log ?
Thanks

Everything I found was related to authentication but this does not seem an issue
in my setup.

You should not issue a STARTTLS over a SSL session. Your connection is already
crypted.
BTW the server does not offers STARTTLS in

Yeah, in Networking --> INET: socket monitoring. Seems to be used
by iproute2... No, by ss, which "only" prints existing sockets.
