I found a solution:
In cyrus-imapd-2.2.6/perl/imap/Makefile.PL replace the line:
my $SASL_LIB = $ENV{SASL_LIB} || "-lsasl2"; with

I try to install libsasl2-plug-ntlm-2.1.15-5mdk.i586.rpm on mandrake 9.0
but I can't satisfy the dependecies.
Installation failed:
libsasl2 == 2.1.15 is needed by libsasl2-plug-ntlm-2.1.15-5mdk
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3) is needed by libsasl2-plug-ntlm-2.1.15-5mdk
libcrypto.so.0.9
How can I use cyrus and SPA.

Hi
Hi, I was curious, did anyone try 2.1.0 and is sieve working in it?
Any clues when the final might ship?
Also, for those of you who run production environments:
How do you roll out upgrades? What are your procedures/steps?
Thanks a lot

Thanks for the feedback. No, unfortunately this didn't help either. S
Well, thanks to Haim Dimermanas, now my setup works.
Except one thing that has been discussed on the mailing list but without any
solutions: sieve.
neither installsieve nor sieveshell seem to work.

Well, I was finally successful in getting everything to work. However mail

Try this:
cyradm --user admin --auth plain localhost
It seems that auth method is not set by default and crammd5 is tried. This
seems to work.

I am having IDENTICAL problems to yours. Same thing exactly.
I am using db 3.3 though and I am on Solaris platform

I finally got all the error messages to go away and now I just can't seem to
log into cyradm. I added users to sasl and I have listed the users in there
and all seems well.
However, when I try to do

Sorry, made a mistake. I made /usr/lib/sasl be a link, not /usr/local/sasl
I am trying to set up Cyrus with SASL and I am having a few difficulties.
OS: Solaris 2.7
MTA: Postfix (not tested yet since I can't add the mailadmin due to cyradm)
I installed everything (sasl and cyrus) into /usr/cyrus/
I made /usr/local/sasl be a link to /usr/cyrus/lib/sasl
I edited cyradm
it's posible to compile Cyrus-IMAP in FreeBSD and with MySql support, not
Berkeley DB 3.x?
