A bug, a patch, and a question

t;, will bypass the authentication check which should allow others who need to use the "-a" option to deliver to use it until do_auth() is implemented. My question is, is there a timeframe for when do_auth() is likely to be implemented? Also, was the AUTH capabilities check intentionally left as strcasecmp() until do_auth() could be implemented?
