Hi, yesterday I had to remove the quota for some of my users. I did the
following:
cd /var/lib/imap/quota
rm u/user.username
quota -f
This happened to increase the usage data of many of my users, not only
the ones I removed the quota of. Why?

When you install the rpm, it creates cronjob that does backups of the
mailboxes.db file every day.

to store userinfo for posix users, sambausers and for people accessing email and

I might be wrong, but I seem to remember that sasl has a compile option
--with-db=DIR or something. CHange that from /usr/lib/db(2) to /usr/lib/db3
This is from the spec file of sasl. Try changing the --with-dblib= to =db3 and
see what happens. Also, make sure you gor the 1.5.27 version since ther

I got a small script that I use to backup my mailserver every saturday. My
problem is that a few times a year the machine i use for backup is taken
offsite (we haul or office around a lot). Then the script stalls because
the nfs mount fails. Naturally this becomes a problem. Could someone sup

Yes. That is exactly what is happening with the authentication error.
What's your cyrus admin entries in imapd.conf?
HAve you done saslpasswd ?
