I try to authenticate cyrus-imap via sasl-auxprop and /etc/sasldb2.
problem is:
user: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> authentication works fine
user: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> authentication fails (badlogin: user not
found)

No, at least not a system user.
But somehow you should let cyradm (i.e. imap) know that the user exists(in
my case in sasldb2, in your case in mysql).
