usermod -G sasl cyrus
and i have installed the missing packedes:
saslauthd-2.1.21-SunOS5.8-sparc-CSW.pkg
openldap-2.3.20-SunOS5.8-sparc-CSW.pkg
openldap_client-2.3.20-SunOS5.8-sparc-CSW.pkg

i can not find in /etc/init.d/saslauthd
only cswcyrus is there. I this a packed from the cyrus installation ???

how do i get cyrus running on Solaris 9 ( Sparc ) ?
I only need imap ( 143 ) and pop3 ( 110 ).
Have anyone a short HOWTO ???
I use:
cyrus-imapd-2.2.12
cyrus-sasl-2.1.21
I compiled the imap with:
./configure --with-perl --with-auth=unix
--with-dbdir=/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.2 --without-opens
