I have been having a heck of a time converting my old unix system mailboxes
to the cyrus server. I used the script that was provided by O'Reilly's
Managing Imap, but it only works on some mailboxes. On others I get the
error:

Okay, I just realized that I ought to come back and post my mistakes here
because searching google had been no help to me (and it was simple logic
that solved my problem):

Well, it looks like enough poking around (and some updating) has fixed the
authentication problem. But I am still having issues with launching
sieveshell. The problem is that timsieved is "signaled to death by 11".
