Hi,
For the purposes of performing a conversion, I'd like to know which
characters are legal in Cyrus mailbox names.
Is this mentioned in one of the docs somewhere?

Great, just what I need. I had no idea such a program was part of the
Cyrus package itself :-)

Right, but even that doesn't appear to be what happens.
Thanks for your help so far.

The patch didn't apply cleanly to 2.1.2, so I made the necessary
alterations. However, after running the new server and performing new
tests, I have to conclude that, as suspected, it doesn't help,

For want of any better suggestions so far, I'll take a look at your
patch and maybe apply it. I hope it still applies to 2.1.2

Postfix _is_ doing some rewriting of the MAIL FROM in the envelope,
but ev

the RCPT TO line.
The :addresses section of my sieve vacation script contains both the
To e-mail address from the e-mail itself and the slightly different
address passed in the envelope, so this can't be the problem either.
How do I make vacation responses go where they're

}
If I then perform 'echo foo | mail -s test [EMAIL PROTECTED]', the mail
ends up in my INBOX instead of INBOX.test. I've already created
