I'm planning a backup strategy for a new server that will handle
Hundreds of mailboxes. Largest server for me to admin so far
Would you share your experiences backing up cyrus mailboxes ?
What tool/s do you use ? how many backups a day do you run ?
Any tips will be really appreciated.

I wonder in which situations it is better to use lmtp over
cyrus-cyrdeliver or viceversa as the mailbox_transport.
For instance, if Im setting postfix for virtualdomains accounts. Isnt
it necesary to set cyrdeliver with special parameters ?

Hi everyone,
Im in the process of setting up cyrus and postfix to work with ldap.
Both use saslauthd for authentication.
Could anyone guide me on what attributes are used by saslauthd to authenticate ?
On the postfix side eveythings set up on main.cf to smtp-auth, ares

I just want to get this straight. Please, someone clarify his to me.
Consider Cyrus and Postifx runing on different servers and having to
communicate with each other through lmtp.

Here´s the line we all know from cyrus.conf that is gonna bring lmtp
listening on tcp:
lmtp cmd="/usr/loc

Tried the following with no success, hope someone could guide me.
Created /home/cyrus/ (same physical partition as the default , just
for testing)
Added to imapd.conf:
partition-mail1: /home/cyrus/
allowusermoves:yes
When I try:
renamemailbox user.foo user.foo partifion-mail1
