I upgraded servers to new Postfix versions, we had some issue with
bounced vacation with czech characters. But postfix has smtputf8 support
enabled :
smtputf8_enable = yes
smtputf8_autodetect_classes = sendmail, verify
and the issue with emails (vacation) persists.

Yes, 3.0 release supports the XCONV commands if you put "conversations: yes" in
your imapd.conf.
They're quite undocumented though, so you'll have to pretty much figure them
out yourself or read through the archives for where there have been examples
pasted in emails.

So, you mean there's no way of achieving it even with one of the very
last releases of Cyrus?. Does Cyrus support XCONV for instance?. Or in
some manner, this non-standard threading variant?.

Yes! This is on our roadmap, and I really hope to land it before we release
3.2.
The subscriptions are a particularly tricky part of it, because there's
currently no change information in the subscriptions database, but I'll make
sure that gets added so we can tell if it's a subscription add
