Thanks. I'm already setting up the user canonicalization plugin using
2.1.24rc1. When I saw the krb.equiv today, I thought maybe I had found
an easier solution.

Thanks for the follow up. I found that the defaultdomain was set to
"localdomain" and when I changed it to mydomain.local I was able to login using
"cyrus". I'm not sure
