I stopped cyrus, removed the deliver.db file, and restarted cyrus,
before I saw your message.
I did not move/remove the db directory. Is tha

Well, I stopped cyrus, moved away the broken deliver.db, and restarted

I had all sorts of problems getting this to work.
I have my firewall running sendmail sending the messages to an internal server
via lmtp, and then authenticating against postgres. the biggest problems were
getting the lmtp connection to include the domain of the destination and

Hi Jarod,
does the stripping ocurr whichever the setting of virtdomains is?
Setting it to userid is quite common. Is your domain.tld the
defaultdomain? In that case, cyrus substitutes it by the hostname, if I
remember the behaviour right.
You could post imapd.conf. Using lmtp, Postfix should not

Stopping Cyrus, removing duplicate_db and starting Cyrus should do the
latter.
HTH,
Hi All,
Three questions.
I wish to move our mail server again, and each time in the past, about 4
times in 8 years, it has been painful. We don't have a system admin
full-time who is expert with cyrus (and exim), and on a few moves I have
recruited a few system admin people via RAC, GAF or other
Platform: Intel pentium II, debian etch
exim 3.36-18.2
cyrus21-imapd 2.1.18-5.1
cyrus21-common 2.1.18-5.1
cyrus21-admin 2.1.18-5.1
Mail delivery to my cyrus imapd has become flaky. Some messages come
through, some are bounced with this message:

Hi!
Would you happen to have any pointers to tips on how to reduce memory
usage of Cyrus imapd processes? Running multiple independent Cyrus
instances on a single physical server appears to require quite an amount
of memory... I wonder how many gigs of RAM the people at fastmail.fm
have...

I have been searching google for the past 2 days trying to figure out
how to finish setting up my Cyrus email system. I am almost there,
however I cannot deliver emails from postfix to the virtual users in
cyrus. After looking through the logs, its as if postfix isn't supplying
the whole email
