for saslauthd with pam_mysql you can log to a separate table and
with a small scriptn delete your users.
for auxprop i'm looking at the moment for a solution for myself.
i think i should patch the cyrus sasl.

I am running redhat fedora 3 at the lates update level. When I first
installed Redhat fedora 3, I used imapd -s just find.
In mozilla, I would specify port 993 and I would get loggons to my
imap server.
Now I can only get mail from port 147, which is the non ssl imap.
