Well this is a sendmail related issue, not Cyrus. However, the logs point to the fact that the user trying to send mail is not allowed to relay mail through that server. Have you configured sendmail to allow that IP address to relay through the server?

Can someone tell me what is going on and a possible
fix. SMTP was working find just yesterday, no
problems and now this:
maillog.log

Jan 13 23:51:14 server sendmail[4877]: a0H8uGjk337399:
ruleset=check_rcpt, arg1=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,
relay=ads
I'm not quite sure if I understand. I'm using FC3 and
this is my config file:
imap.conf
**
configdirectory: /var/lib/imap
partition-default: /var/spool/imap
admins: cyrus root
sievedir: /var/lib/imap/sieve
sendmail: /usr/sbin/sendmail

After upgrading to cyrus-imapd 2.2.10 yesterday on my pilot server, I've
noticed a major slowdown in how the server responds to the LIST command.
Previously, when running 2.1.17, the LIST "" * command usually returned
all the mailboxes I have access to within a few seconds. After
upgrading to 2.2.
Hi, List,
OK, I got past the previous issue, sorry for all the newbie questions...
Now I get this in the messages log:
Jan 13 16:14:52 smtp imap[11735]: [ID 143423 local6.error] DBERROR: reading
/var/imap/db/skipstamp, assuming the worst: No such file or directory
Anybody know how to resolve?
That was it... (stupid boy Pike...:-)
Thanks!

Check ownership and permissions on ~/imap/proc/* Should be cyrus:mail
and I think at least 750.

Hi all,
I'v got a strange situation:
/etc/sasldb has been disappeared...
I recreated it by creating user 'cyrus' with 'saslpasswd2'.
I can login with 'cyradm localhost', but after authentication i don't see any
mailboxes. The mailboxes are on the system and mail is going in there, but
again i ca
Hi, List,
Having re-configured and re-compiled Cyrus IMAP, I get the following error
when attempting to connect (with Outlook):
Fatal error: can't write proc file
Protocol: IMAP
Server: smtp.x.com
Port: 143
Can anyone help?
TIA,

Hi, List,
OK, new problem...
I am trying to rebuild Cyrus IMAP from scratch. Everything *seemed* to go ok
the first build, but now I am getting errors during configure.

Because cyradm *still* doesn't have TLS/SSL support, even though
the client libraries support it and patches have been submitted.
If you want to build yo

Hi,
We are running Cyrus 2.2.8 on Solaris 8 using saslauthd and LDAP
authentication.
Since we upgraded to Cyrus 2.2.8 it happens frequently that users
inboxes get corrupted and clients cannot connect. Is this a known bug
and has it been fixed with Cyrus 2.2.10?
