Good advice, but for some other occasion, see below.

Hi Rob,
Adding the p permission to the mailbox sorted out the problem. I must
admit it seems strange as it is cyrus user that is running at the time
i.e. sieve, and it could post to the user.mark folder but not any
subfolders. Even though they had the same permissions. I dont quite
understand how

Don't append these lines to the end of the sendmail.mc! See the
cf/README for the order in which instructions have to be used in the
sendmail.mc.

Am trying to migrate from using sasldb to using a postgresql backend for
authentication ... first question: is there a howto anywhere on setting
this up, beyond the .html files that come with cyrus-sasl?
My main question is where do I put all of the sql_* Options? From the
docs,
MY first and most obvious suggestion is to check your logs. In particular
/var/log/maillog as it's called on RH. See what they say about the
disposition of the daemons and the mail, and go from there. Unix does a
good job of telling you whats going on if you check log files, unlike
Windows.

This tells xinetd to fire up imapd when a connection comes into the imap port.
Don't know why you want
