Hello all,
I just upgraded my 2.2-cvs installation from berkeley db-3.2 to db-4.1.
The new system now seems to work properly. I had to do some things for
which I would like to know if they may cause future trouble.
First of all I would need to know what these directories are used for
exactly:
Have you considerd using pam_pgsql and libnss_pgsql?
Check the following sites
http://blue-labs.org/clue/NSS_pgsql.php
http://libpam-pgsql.codecastle.com
Otherwise there is a postfix patch for postgreSQL lookups with stored
procedure support here:http://www.rhyme.com.au/postfix.html
And if Plat
Hi,
How can I get sendmail to use my sasl database as its mailbox database.
There is a note about this in the code and man page for mail.local (-D
mbdb) but it seems I have to patch sendmail to use anything but /etc/passwd
or possibly LDAP?
Ideally, what I would like is to keep all users in po

Simon Brady pointed out that versions 2.1.10 and up have a -n option to

We're seeing clients of saslauthd failing with "connection refused" with
a load of around 10 queries per second under Solaris. Our saslauthd is
using a PAM radius module. Some experimentation shows this error occurs
on unix domain sockets when the server doesn't respond fast enough.
The radius bac
Should this happen? I do have subfolders in the mailbox, but clients
won't look at them. Also, clients report errors in trying to create or
append messages into a subfolder. However, I can create a new folder
both through cyradm, and directly logged in with a CREATE command.
Is there a way t
Hi-
Does anyone know of a good document on how to get these three services to
play nice with each other? Thanks in advance.

There was no special meaning intended by "we". On second thought it
probably includes only those who are using --with-auth=unix, (in cyrus
2.1). I should be more carefull next

Hello, All
Is there a way to make cyrus automatically issue EXPUNGE after DELETE
in certain folders (or globally) ?
In other words - is it possible to auto-delete messages right after marking
them as deleted ?
Thanks in advance,

By using an MSA Message Submission Agent, Based on RFC 2476 (or a

I agree, but unless I'm mistaken, one of the Cyrus developers
contributed the SMTP-AUTH code to Sendmail. Anyway, I have just
one more question.

I would never ask for additional documentation (this is not because, I
like reading source code)

Yeah, and I will end up getting burned if I make more propaganda on
postfix-users about anything for Cyrus. Basically, postfix will add
something only if th
Hi,
I am using similar conf like yours, however it runs on a Linux server.
These are sthe config file sections I used on main.cf and cyrus.conf files:
fallback_transport = lmtp:unix:/var/imap/socket/lmtp
mailbox_transport = lmtp:unix:/var/imap/socket/lmtp
and in cyrus.conf

Well I've solved my problem. Thank you everyone who has tried to help.
The problem seems that lmtp from cyrus-imap 2.0.16 does not like to talk

also updated Cyrus-SASL to 2.1.12 for good measure. The only thing that
