I tried to run ipurge but it gives me an error, it doesn't recognise the -f
option.

If I just restore the subfolder and all files (mails + index, header)

Since 4.1 php even supports the cyrus ACLs, so it should be fully
supported now.

I tried to use that tool, but it didn't work at all under mozilla, or netscape

There is a tool to manage cyrus via php:

I've tried the 1.x version once and it looked quite good.

Ah, yeah. And there was a thread about web-interfaces for IMAP servers a

Check out http://www.rhsd.net It uses, postfix, openldap, cyrus-imap with
custom administration tools and that web interface. The nice part is that the
setup is done by running one script, answering

We need to automagically delete emails from the system that are older than a
certain amount of time AND only for those accounts who we specify. Is it

I have installed cyrus 2.0.16 by compiling the .src.rpm from
http://rmrpms.tripod.com/cyrus-imapd/ Everything works well, except I
cannot use sieve.
When I try to run either sieve shell or installsieve I get the following

Here's my .02 cents:
1. check cyrus-utils.sf.net => faq for a lot more info.
2. What distro are you using?
3. Download the cyrus source and compile and install it. Thus, you'll
get the init.d files etc. from the rpm and up to dage binarys (I think
this will work with 2.1.3, at least it worked f

The goal was to keep all mailbox-folder-data in memory (the

Hello, I am trying to install the package cyrus-imapd-2.0.9-3.i386.rpm.
It requires libdb-3.1.so. I have this rpm packages installed on my system:

I made a symbolic link (/usr/lib/libdb-3.1.so --> /usr/lib/libdb-3.2.so) and

Hi,
I have been patching the hashing functions to allow numeric logins in

I have modified so far:

mailbox_hash_mbox()
mailbox_hash_quota()

getpath()
And another file which I do not remember now, I can't login to the server
because it is crashed n

I don't really understand it's goals.
I found it looking for a way to distribute my load across many servers.

Hello cyrus list,
I have successfully installed cyrus-sasl-2.1.1 and cyrus-imapd-2.1.2 with

Now my problem is that I use the email address as login name. e.g:

How can I delete a mail from someones mailox from the command line?
Some of my users have problems with large mails blocking their boxes,
and I normally just connect with an IMAP client and remove the mail for
them, but I want to just do it from the command line. I can see the
