For my most recent migration, I wanted all my users to change their
passwords anyway, so I just created a long list of auto-generated
passwords using apg (auto password generator), mailed them all their
passwords with a mail-merge type operation, then used this script to
change the passwords i

Hi all,
I'm in the middle of my first Cyrus installation. The compilation
has gone OK, and I can run it and telnet to it and it exists as it should.
I had a few problems getting cyradm to work, but I compiled it
seperately and it is now fine... BUT (isn't there always a but?)
How do I set
Cyrus Imapd 1.6.24
Sendmail 8.12.0
Cyrus-sasl 1.5.24
I'm getting a service unavailable error after I switch the deliver flags
to -e -l. I get a savemail panic because nothing can get delivered
anywhere. I manually added the /var/imap/socket/lmtp and I'm not sure
if I did it right. I looked at

Hi all,
We've had problems with those nasty winmail.dat attachments from
MS LookOUT! for a while. Last week came the final straw, some luser has
an IT department that refuses to reconfigure their Exchange server "because
everybody uses outlook".
I found the tnef package to unpack these th
You can use a script like the following:

I used the mboxtocyrus script at: -

The one major problem with it, is that the "Received on" dates will all be
destroyed and replaced with today.
Also, read/not read info is lost.

Hi,
Using IMAPD 2.0.14 and IMSPD 1.6 with pwcheck as authentification I would
like to know which AUTH-Method my Mulberry-Client realy uses for imapd and
imspd. Looking at the imapd-server-properties I can see:
AUTH=DIGEST-MD5
AUTH=CRAM-MD5
But when I log into imapd or imspd, the Client tells
