Well then - if you want to obfuscate anything that looks like an
email address EXCEPT an email address representing one of the 5000+
lists being archived here, then really the only way to do that is
to have a hash of all the list addresses and check for those in the
section.
if ($ENV{'MAILLIST'}
with all the intricacies
of modern email and use whatever defaults are provided.
But if mhonarc reflows long lines in normal plain text and uses
(when it could have allowed it to flow), it seems to be consistent to do
the same with (supposedly) flowed text.

There are several other places in that email where copy'n'paste of
Unix output containing leading or embedded strings of spaces are
missing the extra spaces, yet in other places, a pre container is
used that *does* preserve the spaces.
Can this missing leading/consecutive spaces problem be fixed?
