1205sa card on a windows machine... updated driver which may have been
a waste of time and flashed both Base BIOS and SATA_raid BIOS.

Tightvnc installed with server flag and seems to be working, at least
as far as viewing from gentoo through servers running on windows
machines. But when tried the other way round I get no connecton and no
log output from the gentoo server.

keyboard to respond.
It responds at the grub screen, but once past there... no response
I am running thru a kvm switch, but don't really have the option
without a fair bit of juggling to try it with everything hooked
