I just upgraded my AMD X2 4000+ to a 6000+. The fan that came with the 4000+ always sounded like it had one speed and it was quiet. The 6000+ comes with a fan that seems to have two speeds and the faster speed is pretty loud. Can I get the fan to never increase to the higher speed? - Grant

I have 3 Gentoo systems on a wireless network, one of which is the firewall/router. Sometimes any traffic to one of the systems effectively freezes traffic on the whole network. Does anyone know what might cause that? It's tough to investigate because it doesn't happen all the time. - Grant

Since upgrading to firefox-3.0, double-click-to-highlight behavior has changed. Double-clicking a word doesn't highlight the entire word any more, it stops at dashes and underscores. Does anyone know how to change this behavior? - Grant
