My $TERM shows xterm-256color in both cases.
I have no $HOME/.Xresources file installed.
My $HOME is on a separate partition so it does not
change between old and new root as it will be mounted
on /hom

issues. ( Don't try their pre-built client / PATHs are wrong. )
