Hello all,
Only just started playing with hardened gentoo.
I have a few normal gentoo amd64 machines already running.
Can I add those to the distcc config for the hardened box?
Or are there indeed special things with the compiler on hardened gentoo?
Regards,
Coert

Hello,
Few month ago I played with that. My experience was that I need to use
hardened gentoo for distcc to work correctrly.
So I tried the virtualbox setup.

Hi,
I want to rsync all the directories and files that contain the date
"2011.03.03".
Everything else should not be copied.
I did a lot of experiments and read web pages, but can't solve this
conundrum.
kfir@goofy /tmp/rsync.test $ find
.
./b
./a
./a/aaa
./a/aaa/2011.03.03
./a/2011.03.04

Hi,
is there any way to find completely all "orphaned" files on my
system (recursivelly from /)? I mean all files (and directories)
which do not belong to any ebuild installed...
I know, there is "qfile" with "-o" option, but its syntax is
not clear to me. I tried "qfile -o *" but that is appare

Hi,
just to warn everyone of you readers, who use ~ARCH:
firefox 4.0 arrived with a dep to gconf.
A big show stopper for the all who do not want to have any gnome
dependencies, but want to have the new Firefox.
You have been warned
