like gnome so I install aiglx and beryl which are more compatible with
kde.
I have ati radeon xpress 200 on amd64. When I add an option

access and running Gentoo on my desktop for more then a year now.
But what or where do we find a good guide/doc for installing Gentoo
from a distance when using an ssh connection.

AFAIK, the proprietary ati drivers don't support compositing and the xorg
drivers don't support dri for r400 chipsets
i.e. aiglx doesn't work for the xpress 200m :(
i've read somewhere that xorg is working on dri for r300 & r400 chipsets. we
have to be patient.

I've got a strange problem w/ seamonkey and IMAP.
It sometimes hangs for a long time.
strace shows up, it endlessly stat()'s and .msf file for one
of my imap mailboxes.
Does anyone know where this comes from and how to get around it ?
