I don't typically use the Xorg -configure option (I use vi!), but doesn't it create a temporary xorg.conf file in root's home directory so that you can test it?  If it works then I would copy it from /root/xorg.conf (if it is there) to /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Hi all. I've just put a twin monitor setup on my system, I have a problem that so far I've not been able to fix. Once I run Xorg -configure and edited /etc/X11/xorg.conf for the mouse and monitor resolutions both video card / monitor setups seem to work fine. I then setup the KDE desktops and
