It looks like version 0.18 is no longer on mirrors.
Workaround:
Using the ~arch version should work -Add the following line to
/etc/portage/package.keywords (create it if it doesn't exist):
perl-core/Sys-Syslog

last night, i try to emerge hal-0.5.11-r3 and it pulled glib-2.18.1 as
its depedency. but emerging glib failed. i'm already run revdep
rebuild, but nothing happend. here is the error log:

I updated my machine with emerge uDav world. It tried to emerge
kword-1.4.2, but it failed. Here is the output:
