I have an iRiver mp3 player that can be mounted as a USB mass storage device. Up until recently it connected perfectly when I plugged it in and I even had a udev rule to symlink it to /dev/iriver for me. Now, after some update, the device nodes are no longer getting created in /dev when I plug it
