Hi all!
After emerging new Emacs (v.26) I got TRAMP broken. I do not use it
often, so I hit the problem only today. Instead of opening file it
complains with the following message (regardless of protocols and
local/remote files):
"Couldn't find local shell prompt for zsh"
I might be possibly doi

I've found the manuals, sorry for the noise.
I used to think that when I close the lid the system goes to sleep. But
it's not. I did not use that functionality for quite a long time so I
can't say when it was broken. Meantime I would like to get that feature
back but I'm more a scientist than an IT specialist, so I need help with
that. To beg

After last system update my connman refuses to work. It throws a
message:
The name net.connman was not provided by any .service files
There is connman service installed in default runlevel. Connman version
is 1.29. I had not changed any configuration file before it stopped
working. I suspect that

Hi to all,
My OC got completely broken after update to v.10.0.4. At least two
backends stop working: webdav and caldav. I have heard that many
developers flee from OC project. So what do think would make more sence
- investing my time in debuging OC or migratitg to Nextcloud?
Thank you.

I had moved to v 17.0 profile mostly painless, though it was a time
consuming event. But I got one point anyway. Python in my system was
updated from 3.4 to 3.5 and after 3.4 was removed with depclean, the
option for v 3.4 in eselect python remains. It looks a bit weird to me
when I can choose with

After last update my Xmonad starts from 8-th workspace instead of
1-st. I did not change anything but updated Xmonad and GHC, config
remained the same (file attached). What have I done wrong other than I'd
better not updated my system?
Thank you ahead of time.

problems with alsa so far. I cannot tolerate systemd and other non-Unix
