Hello Gentoo users,
I just can't fsck my root device because my Gentoo system don't allow me
to remount it as readonly (mount -o ro,remount /dev/hda1). A rw-mounted
device is unsafe to be fsck -ed. (AFAIK).
When I go to tty1, login as root, do these:
killall kdm, then init 1. It goes to runl

It is a workaround, that I run games from a pure x11 session, but...
Can you tell me how to fix this keyboard issue? Is there any chance to
get it workin'?
Thanks a lot.

Dear gentoo users,
As you all know, Firefox 2.0.0.2 is stable on x86 in Portage. When one
emerges it, Gnome menu call, and the software calls itself (in about
box) Bon Echo (the codename of Firefox 2 development tree). Why?
Is really development version of Firefox in Portage, or what?
Thanks a lo

If isn't, the following will do:
a GDM session opens in my VNC window, and I can login to my account into
gnome. With existing user, with existing home folder.
I hope I was clear. Sorry for my English, I'm from Hungary.

Dear Gentoo users,
I have a question about Win32 emulation. I'm using Wine (0.9.31 ~x86
in Portage) for mIRC and uTorrent usage. It works flawlessly. Today I
bought a new video card (nvidia 6600) for gaming. With this card,
everything is OK.
My question: is it possible to have Wine and Ced

As this email is clear text, I cannot mark, but from the USE flags, it
is obvious that Portage now considers all my USE flag demands, although
emerge -pvN world don't. That is what I don't understand.
Is this a possible Portage bug, or I just messed up some
