I haven't used sylpheed, but thunderbird does indeed delete messages from the
server if you move them to Trash.

use "Cyrillic (Transliterated)" often.
My question is: is there a way to do this in KDE? Is there maybe an
application add-on that facilitates this? I'm not looking to switch locales.
