Perhaps... I'm not too sure how to respond to such a statement. If y
told me, "you do need to take a different
look at the world". You also need to understand the meaning of "freedom of
speech", as this is something about which many of the younger generations are
confused: I am not a Governmental organisation, I am not trying to detain you
for your views, and your right to freedom of speech does not protect you from
all critique.
Hope this helps,
Ashley.
P.S. I have not yet watched that Oxford Union video, but I will do when I get
some time. Cheers for the link; those speeches are generally interesting.

It's tedious, but there's no reason that the kernel shouldn't find firmware in
subdirectories. Perhaps you needed to add a trailing oblique ('/') to your
CONFIG_EXTRA_FIRMWARE_DIR, such that the concatenated path is correct ?

Summarised, this dependency is triggered by CONFIG_IKHEADERS, which has been
configured too obscure to pull in cpio for everyone (hence the WONTFIX status
for the latter bug report).

mp3splt primarily works with mp3s, but can also support ogg, which can be a
container format for flac. I've never used it myself, but it looks promising,
providing you are OK with placing your flacs inside an ogg.
Hope this helps.

It's a terribly generic error; can you provide the full boot log before it
starts to hang ? Some potential solutions to try in the mean time:
