I wonder if it's just me. Recently, when I install Gentoo on laptops, net-setup does not work; I end up with eth0 in the 169.254/16 range, i.e. "zeroconf". However, I can manually go in afterwards and type the appropriate "ifconfig" and "route add" statements. Then eth0 comes up properly. In

I lowered my MaxClients setting in apache a long time ago after running out of memory a couple times. I recently optimized my website's code and sped the site way up, and now I find myself periodically up against MaxClients. Is a RAM upgrade the only practical way to solve this sort of problem?
