Today I tried to boot latest install ISO (from January) and hit this
bug:
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=455924
This breaks a lot of hardware requiring firmwares (like some wireless
drivers)
Could a new ISO set be released?
Thanks

Hello
Looks like this herd has some unattended bug for a long time (some for
some years), and looks not quite active. Is it still active? Should it
be dropped in favor of dedicated maintainers for its packages?
Thanks

We would like to start a process of simplifying dotnet maintained

Will dissolve it next week if nobody joins then
After talking with WilliamH yesterday, I have this opinion:
- Playing with /sbin/init (instead of /sbin/einit) has two interesting
advantages:
1. For example, I now have init=/sbin/e4rat-preload in my grub.conf, if
I do a typo, it would fallback to /sbin/init. If /sbin/init is provided
by sysvinit,

Why fonts team doesn't elect a new lead then? Thanks for the
The problem I hit usually:
There are some packages that rely on X for some tests, that way, when I
for example emerge tk, it's nearly impossible to keep working because I
get tons of windows opened and closed.
Wouldn't be better to make that tests *always* use virtual X?
Thanks for your thought
