I've taken the liberty of cleaning out some of pmask.
Pretty much anything pre-2004 that covers stuff that isn't in the tree.

This doens't build at all as the buildsystem is too old and needs
updating to work with new automake versions.
I will pmask this and remove it in 30 days unless someone speaks up.
