I'm compiling it now (full ~x86 system). I'll let you know how it goes in about
two hours. Then again, I may be asleep by then, so let's hope this world upgrade
(including the 20050131 GCC 4.0.0 alpha snapshot just for kicks) doesn't damage
my system too much while I'm asleep. =)

the initscript uses raidtab to id the raid devices, it assumes that
fstab has an entry for any devives and if the module for the hostadapter
needs to be loaded
