Try using the experimental universal livecd, released December 11, 2005. The official 2005.1-r1 livecd wouldn't work for my motherboard + SATA drive either. You can also try booting with gentoo nodetect, and then try modprobing sata_nv and your ethernet card. Marcel Treis wrote: Hi folks,
