ery manufacturer is different but maybe, just maybe this will get you on track to at least finding a solution. If this changes after you have booted, try removing the numlock service from the default runlevel. That may cause the same thing I described above. Most want that on a desktop but not on a laptop. is a compiled seamonkey. It installs it as seamonkey-bin since after I compile it here, it is then a binary. I don't have any precompiled binaries here that I know of. I chose the 64 bit folding package. That's what was on the web page at least. Since it is a binary, I can't be sure of that. Dale :-) :-)

the videos are dark when played through youtube or any other site for that matter. I can download them and open them in smplayer and they are bright and look fine. This happens in Firefox and Seamonkey. I never have been able to figure why they are to dark tho. Dale :-) :-)

l typo was painful for me. I switched to grub and the difference was like flying the space shuttle or riding a tri-cycle. Let's remove the computers from the space shuttle just to make it as difficult. I may have to use lilo one day but grub will be long dead and will not compile on any rig I have. Dale :-) :-)
