We really can do better, but we have to have better documentation.
Some folks have started working on improving the actual emails or links

I'm aware of the wall of text at contributor-agreements, but from what I've

Ade,
Getting some code in place is a good first step. Getting a start on a
community is an important next step, and it is better done before coming to
Apache for a variety of reasons. One of the simplest reasons is that you
can't even make a release at Apache without having an active community.

Hi -
To me you have two parts. One fits Apache and the other would need to be
outside.
(1) Open Source Software which is the library, service and CLI tools. This is
something that an Apache Community could grow around and be governed in the
Apache Way. This part can be incubated.
(2) Open Dat

We do have a couple of project along those lines eg. pony mail and kibble,, so
that may not be an issue.
Is there an existing code base and a community using it?
Thanks,

Hi Matt,
Thanks for the response. You are sort of correct, I would say the end goal
is a service - an open source engine that is able to grab and ingest this
highly unstructured security information and turn it into something useful
- then provide that back to the user in a few different forms. On
I'm a little unclear about the scope of the project here. This project
looks more like a service, and I don't know of any ASF projects that
exist to provide services outside the ASF.

Hi Ralph,
I would thank you for the time you spend for this.
The code base is not really documented, and will evolve in the future,
and I hope with the support of a community.
If you need some explications, I were happy to answer.

Hi Ralph,
Multi-tenancy in jSpirit is as you describe, plus the ability to replace
business service implementation per tenant.
Thanks for your interest.

This project is definitely of interest to me as my employer does Saas via
