Whatever happens, IMO we must still require at least one mentor vote
on podling committers elections - if only to make sure mentors are
listening.

+1 the IPMC should not be interfering and thus there is no need to be
involved. Mentors should be monitoring podling activity. IPMC members with
an interest should join the community lists.
