A google search of incubator release announcements
("site:mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/incubator-general announce
incubating") reveals that only about 1/3 of them have the disclaimer.
So, neither policy nor practice are clear. I have logged

(not the announcement). Only guidance I have found regarding the

I scanned both of those links and could not locate specific instructions
regarding the text of a release announcement.
My streams announcement from earlier today would have been in compliance if:
a) a short description of the project was included in the body
b) the project-specific inc

http://incubator.apache.org/guides/branding.html says that the web site,
documentation and releases should include a disclaimer. It does not say
that the release announcement should include a disclaimer.
Can someone please clarify?
