Same remark here than for the svn migration.
As this is unusual for the incubating project, it might be eductive for the
future poddling to describe why the incubator wants normaly to have
incubator mailing list and why this rational is not applicable to
subversion.

PS: Please, don't discuss the specific case of the maven repository.
Start an other thread somewhere else if you want to discuss it.

My question was in that context.

Hint : You could maybe still release JSecurity under the groupid /
artefactid that you were using

Do we have a solution for that?

Ivy is an ant subproject now (since october last year).
Is it still in an agenda somewhere? Can I fix that
I agree that a rename would be good advice. However, I didn't see anything in
the Apache license that would enforce you
to do it. Is it?
Of curse, you have to use the correct NOTICE files, and you couldn't name your
project Apache .
But is there really a trademark issue with package names?
FYI, Dimensions is already the name of a software developed by Serena. See [1]
I know it's a criterion to leave and not to enter the incubator, but I prefer
to share this info before I forget.

If the
community of this project like it (and if it was the right community) they

I have thus preferred to launch the idea here.
Did you like the idea? Are there people here wanting to collaborate
on it? What does the mentors here advices for the next steps?
